Abstract submission

Important: The author, marked in the submission system as the presenting author, must register as a participant and pay the participation fee by 10 May 2018, otherwise the abstract will be automatically removed from the programme.

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The posters should be on display throughout the conference. In case you need to leave early, please inform the info desk staff onsite. The posters and poster boards will be numbered and you will find your poster number in the printed programme which you will receive upon your arrival. Pins/tape will be provided for attaching the posters. The poster size is A0, 841 mm (width) x 1189 mm (height).

The poster session will be held on Wednesday afternoon, starting at 16.15. Wine and light snacks will be offered. Poster presenters are requested to be by their poster to answer questions during the poster session.

GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Please prepare for a 15-minute presentation, and save it in either PowerPoint or a PowerPoint-compatible format. You can either bring your presentation on an USB-stick or access it online (e.g. in your email or a cloud-service), as the presentation computers have internet access. An assistant will be present in the session at all times, helping you with the technical aspects and keeping the time. Please do not hesitate to ask at the front (registration) desk, if you have any specific needs  or questions in regards to your presentation. Also, check the final  program (will be published in June) to make sure everything is in order with the timetable and title for your presentation.

When submitting your abstract, choose the theme below that most closely matches your work. You can also choose “Other” if none of the themes are appropriate. You can also choose the Nordic Network Symposium (lunch to lunch 25-26th of June) or the Blackstone Symposium.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: extended until 16 February 2018

Abstracts will be subject to a blind review process.

The abstracts will be presented as oral presentations or as posters. You may mark your preferred mode of presentation on the abstract submission form, but the final decision rests with the Programme Committee.

All accepted abstracts will be published in a printed abstract book and/or on a mobile app.

Submission guidelines
Abstracts are submitted via the Oxford Abstracts online submission system:

  1. Register to submit SUBMISSION HAS BEEN CLOSED
  2. You may amend your submission until the final submission deadline. Please note that uncompleted abstracts will not be reviewed. Remember to complete the abstract and answer all the required questions before the deadline.
  3. If you wish to submit a symposium, please instruct the persons you are inviting to your symposium to choose the category ”other” when submitting their abstracts and then write the name of the symposium on the ”please specify” box of the submission form. Also, please include a short overview of your symposium.

Writing guidelines

  1. Abstracts must be written in English and proof read
  2. Abstract text: please, include objectives, method, results, conclusions
  3. Maximum number of words in total in the abstract body text is 250
  4. Do not include tables, graphs or special symbols, references or key words in abstracts
